Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 4 computer comes in two versions: a 15-inch version with a full-size display, and a 15.6-inch model with a 1366×768 display.
And in Microsoft’s press release, the company shows how to use the two models to create a stand that will fit any monitor.
The stand is made of solid aluminum with metal hinges, and it uses a custom 3D-printed frame that can be assembled and assembled again.
You can see the whole setup below.
The machine is only available for the Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 5, but Microsoft says the company will offer the Surface RT with the new display sometime this summer.
We can see a model of the stand that’s similar to this below.
Microsoft says that you can build your own stand for less than $50.
The Surface Pro is available in two colors: white and black, but the company also has a “high-end” version for $399, which is also available with the display.
The “high end” model comes with a metal frame that Microsoft says is “made to support the most demanding screen sizes, and its sleek design and light weight will make it a standout in your workspace.”
The company has yet to announce an availability date for the new stand.
The Microsoft Surface Pro series is a big step for Microsoft as a brand.
In the past, Microsoft has been focused on PCs, tablets, and phones.
Now, the Surface line has shifted to include both tablets and laptops, and Microsoft has created a “new portfolio of devices and applications.”
As you can see in the video above, Microsoft is also introducing its new Surface Studio line of products, which will have a touchscreen display as well.
The company says that the Studio will come with Windows 10 Pro, but it’s unclear whether that will be an update to Windows 10 or an upgrade to Windows RT.
The Studio is only $399.
The new Surface Pros will ship in the first quarter of 2019, and they’re available for pre-order now.
